fun with eli

eli has a playroom at his house and him and aven had so much fun playing together and exploring with new toys. it was also a nice distraction for the kiddos so jen and i could have some quality time together!! we went to the park and played outside for a while and they were worn out that night... always a nice thing to be able to get some sleep. not that WE did, there wasn't a night while i was there that we went to bed earlier than 2AM. those nights are always fun- even tonic was exhausted.

aven and eli had a blast together, they were certainly partners in crime and it was so great to be able to spend time with jen. we went to eli's tumbling class and i think aven is hooked- hopefully we can find something similiar here. her favorite were the rings!

welcome baby maya- we love you!

aven and spent a week in alabama to welcome pam's precious little girl, maya. she will be a month old on the 11th and jen and i hosted her welcoming party/baby shower on saturday. the party was wonderful and a great chance to catch up with old friends. when i get pics back from the shower, i'll post but for now all i have are pics of aven playing with maya. she wanted her to be her size so they could run and all play together. can't wait to watch her grow up and be a beautiful little girl!

trip to fayetteville to visit the dixons

this trip was back in july, but i forgot my camera and brenda forwarded these. we had a great time and it was so nice to spend the week with you guys. love you guys and miss you so much! aven and ella had a blast playing together, can't wait until the next play weekend!

i have loved this church for years, finally got around to taking a picture of it-
love to all and thanks for a great visit. can't wait to see everyone again in october for our birthdays, it's going to be so fun~

aven and i at biltmore

aven did really well touring the house and chowed down on BBQ for lunch. she's so much like me it's kindof scary! she loved playing outside and the picture of her inside the flower bed is when she went through the ropes meant to keep you out.
