Fall Weather is Here

it's finally true fall weather and today we helped daddy rake leaves out of the front yard. aven rode around the neighborhood and front yard in her pink car waiving to all the neighbors. it's almost time for thanksgiving and christmas!! can't wait- love you all

we had a formal last night and got to get all dressed up!!! aven was eating up the attention until she realized we were both leaving and she starting crying. thanks to aunt pam and mr. rick for babysitting so we could go out!! you guys are the greatest!!

seafood festival with ella

we took aven to the seafood festival and she and ella had a great time playing on the playground and eating french fries!! i guess if mommy can splurge on fried seafood, aven can have a french fry.

aven's birthday party was this weekend and everyone had a blast, especially her!!! thanks to everyone that was here and for everyone's gifts. she is certainly a blessed little girl to have so many people in her life that love her-

we found aven's birthday present and couldn't keep it from her so she got to play with it early. she can walk pushing it, so she goes all over the house. we had to take an updated picture of her eyes...

pumpkin patch with ella

yesterday we took aven to the richmond hill pumpkin patch with our friends jon and brenda and their little girl, ella. ella is a month younger than aven and they have a blast together. they rode in ella's wagon and were certainly attention getters from the ladies working the pumpkin patch!!

Welcome Home, Daddy

i had these pictures taken for damion as a welcome home gift and now that he has opened them, i wanted to share with everyone. it's amazing how fast she is growing and she is such a daddy's girl. they are inseparatable. hope you all enjoy!!

we've been praticing and i can finally do it!!! this one's for daddy-maybe next will be metal chairs on the ice rink- we love you!!

surprise visit from nanny!!

my mom came down this weekend to visit and we had a great time. we went to the park and rode the swings and slide, walmart and played cowgirl, and went to cracker barrel where aven tasted pancakes for the first time. i think she is going to be a pancake fan just like her parents. we had a great time and can't wait until the next visit.

Happy Anniversary

yesterday, 31 Aug, was our 6th anniversary. Happy Anniversary, Babe, and thanks for all the wonderful memories!!! Within these six years, we've moved 5 times, have been apart for over 80% of it, traveled to some of the most beautiful places in the U.S., been to Disney and had breakfast with Eeyore, and now the biggest shock of all-we have a beautiful little girl!! how blessed we are- my love, amanda

aven's new favorite toy

aven's new toy of choice is her medicine dropper. she crawls all around the house with in her mouth and even takes it with her to the bath and on the changing table. apparantly, she seems to think it's just a pacifier with a longer grip!! she's never been fond of pacifiers, but she loves this dropper.

aven's fun games

aven has always had an extreme intrest in the refridgerator and now that she is able to pull up you can't keep her out of it. it's a mad dash to see if you can get the door open, get what you need out, and get the door closed before she realizes what you are doing and pushes you out of the way to get into it. she will play until her little hands are freezing cold and all the food is defrosted and will pitch a pretty good fit when you take her away from it.
